My coworkers were ordering pizza the other day and the pizza place had a new item - garlic bread pizza. It looked so yummy, but really, what doesn't when you work nights and it is 10 pm and you didn't bring food, you can't leave the hospital, and the cafeteria is closed. It's either order pizza or hit the vending machines...
Anyways, it looked pretty good so I thought I could make it at home. We picked up our Texas Toast, pizza sauce, cheese and pepperonis. I did make some supreme versions for Mr. H2.
Bake the garlic toast first! Otherwise the pizzas are really soft. Bake at 425 for about 3 minutes on each side. Then load them up! Place them back in the oven for about another 6-7 minutes. The toast gives the pizza a rich, buttery taste with a garlic kick. Easy, easy, easy dinner that made the kids and husband happy. I like that!
