She is like the merchant ships
She brings her food from afar
...ummm...okay, let's think about this one. Merchant ships...a woman is like a merchant ship...bringing food...I really had a bit of a time figuring out the whole merchant ship thing so I did some online research. What did I find out? Women used to trade things that they made with the merchants for food. We don't really live in a barter society anymore so I can't really do that. But I can be economical and sensible with my grocery budget. I can plan my family's meals well and try to save my family money.
And the food from afar part...
Well, as the saying goes 'the way to a man's heart is through his stomach'.
And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. I Timothy 6:8
Far off food...spice it up. Make some different meals. I know that my husband really dislikes eating the same thing over and over so I try to cook different things. Chinese, spaghetti, tacos - different countries use different spices and seasonings which makes for a happy husband.
It doesn't have to be elaborate and I know it is not supposed to break the household budget, but as they say (whoever 'they' are)...
Variety is the Spice of Life!

That whole "variety is the spice of life thing" is my hubby's primary argument for me buying more lingerie - watch out! :)
